The Tory Party Conference is taking place in Manchester, whilst our City is in its first year of devolved powers, it is important that our communities can come together, get active and be creative.
Greater Manchester Housing Action and Raised By Feminists would like to bring people together from various campaign groups, networks and communities in Manchester for two banner making evenings at Partisan Collective.
For all those who are creators, painters, stitchers and slogan makers, for all people who have a passion for justice and equality in our society and for all who want to support the groups attending the protest.
Our focus for banner making evenings is on celebrating solutions that work for everyone, to unite groups in Manchester and bring our community together.
To bring if you have/can donate: cardboard, material, wooden sticks and art supplies. Slogans, stats, the tory impact facts.
There are two dates available, it is possible that material banners might take longer to make, or for people to attend if one date is better than the other.
The banners are for the Take Back Manchester Festival: protest the Tory Party conference https://www.facebook.com/events/508320366179510/
