Lola Olufemi – Feminism, Interrupted. Book Talk and Q + A

15th April 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Partisan is very excited to host Lola Olufemi as she introduces her new book, Feminism, Interrupted (Pluto Press, March 2020).

The event will focus on the relationship between feminism and grassroots organising, returning feminism to its radical roots, and the feminist imagination.

In her own words:

“Feminism is a transformative political project that requires us to seriously reassess how we live & why it’s so important that we claw it back from neoliberalism”

Lola Olufemi is a black feminist writer and organiser from London. She facilitates workshops on feminism and histories of political organising in schools, universities and local communities.

An audience Q&A and a book signing will follow. Copies of the book will be available to purchase.

Suggested donation for entry is £3. All proceeds go towards keeping Partisan open and help our aims to become a fully accessible venue.
