Cheetham Fest Banner Making Workshop

We’re so excited to be bringing you TWO events for 2019’s Cheetham Cultural Festival.

Come down to Partisan on Saturday from 12-4pm to get involved in family friendly crafting fun, completely FREE and everyone welcome!

At this first one we’ll be making the banners for each of the venues taking part in the walking bus tour on the Sunday. We’ll also be making instruments out of found and recycled materials so you can shake them along your walk to the other tour stops. Snacks, music, materials and smiles included.

One of the main events on the Sunday of Cheetham Fest is the Walking Bus tour. In association with Manchester Lung Health Checks we’re inviting everyone to ditch the car and get active while soaking up the atmosphere of the festival, making your way between all the venues open on Sunday to see the best of Cheetham! Journey from Partisan’s Family Fun Day to the Gurdwara, Museum of Transport, Trinity Church, Khizra Masjid and the Wandering Jewish Museum setting up camp at Manchester Fort Shopping Park! And we’ll be making banners for each of them!

Accessibility: please note. The space is not currently accessible for wheelchair users. We are fully committed to becoming accessible ASAP. We had to open before this in order to fundraise to generate the funds for a ramp and lift, and are currently awaiting planning permission to make these changes.
