Partisan is delighted to announce that we’ll be joined by Adam Zmith as he talks to us about his new book, Deep Sniff: A History of Poppers and Queer Futures. (Repeater Books, 2021)

In his first book, Adam charts the history of poppers and tells the story of how they wafted from the laboratory to being sniffed out in gay bars, clubs and bedrooms across the world. The book features imbricating conceptions of identity, queerness, and pleasure from past to present. The talk will comprise of questions,  readings and discussion with Adam being joined in conversation by host Sam Fairbrother. Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the night.
