The initial inspo for GOOD SUGAR came from Hacienda’s queer night, Flesh.
The thought process was to create a safe and inclusive space to listen to this kind of music (slightly cheesey, house/club classics). Even though this kind of music is still played out a lot, it’s often not in any environments that feels like a safe spaces.
And just like that GOOD SUGAR was born, a fun and silly night that celebrates Manchester house music and it’s history. Each DJ is under strict instruction that they have to play one outright club/dance banger without any edits.
