Long time comrade of Partisan, Kickin’ Pigeon was a key organiser of the very first Wet Play NYD party at Partisan in 2018, which inspired our day parties 💕. Otherwise to be found behind the counter of Piccadilly Records pushing the best dance music in the world to DJs and music-lovers alike, KP has his beak deep inside the freshest forthcoming releases out there before any of us even know they exist. This is his long-overdue debut for us, after summer flu kept him from a dub special at our UK garage all dayer special. Fresh from a roof-raising headline slot at Manchester’s legendary annual under-bridge rave, he’s ready to twist the Partisan dancefloor inside-out. Brace yourselves…

Casino-Vault-Robber-In-Chief of feminist DJ collective All Hands On Deck, Hayter Player is freshly returned from a lengthy sabbatical in the US of A, where both Vegas and the nation’s record shops have been plundered by her nimble hands, without a trace. A real gold digger, she’ll bring the.hottest.tunes.in.the.world, a blazing inferno of dancefloor excitement delivered with an unmistakable dextrous precision. BITZER MALONEY [Bakk.Heia]
Bitzer’s reputation has grown at what might be an even more astronomical rate than that of his Mancunian label and party, Bakk.Heia. Putting on the likes of Radioactive Man and DMX Krew, as well as being hand-picked to support Marcellus Pittman, Bitzer’s an absolute specialist in the realm of house/electro/techno. With the label’s latest release already getting widespread support amongst the biggest selectors in the city, he’s well and truly earned his place amongst them. Her Royalness The Princess Anna of Limbo graces us with her esteemed presence for her first official day party performance. Having nobly been our saviour after a last minute drop-out in the past and stunned us with some right norrrty rnb, we realised that Anna belongs with the many not the few. The most energetic DJ you have ever seen in your life, it begs the question, what are they putting on that silver spoon?? Whatever it is, Princess Anna distributes it equally among the people of the dancefloor

ACIDHOUSEDEATHSQUAD [unpopularculturemcr]
The real reason the Haçienda closed down in 1997 is because it was HQ of operations of public enemy #1, acidhousedeathsquad. Forced underground, it’s said that activities continued outside of the purview of intelligence authorities in hidden basements across the city for the ongoing years, in which times the outfit’s crafts and processes were gradually perfected. Deep forays were made into the black markets of dub and reggae, and Partisan provides a safer space for the acidhousedeathsquad to make a much-awaited public outing. Beware, and do not miss!!

POPPY [Deptford Northern Soul Club]
One of the youngest, most hip-shaking historians of classic Northern Soul about, Poppy is an experienced selector behind the Partisan decks from a myriad of events dating back to Mancuso-homage Wax The Van, to Friendzone, to upcoming sets at classic disco audiophile party Horticulture. Get your dancing shoes on.

Regrettably, Partisan is not yet wheelchair accessible. However, we are working closely with the council and our architect to make this Grade 2 Listed building accessible to all. Partisan is located across 2 floors of a 3-story building. The basement has 11 steps from street level, without a handrail. The first floor has 22 steps from street level, with a handrail. There are 40 steps between the two floors. All toilets are gender-neutral and are located on both levels of the venue. On the first floor, these are single contained stalls. In the basement, there are stalls and urinals.

Seating is available on each floor at all events. For performances, a seated viewing area will be available.

Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.

For ticketed events, paying disabled people are eligible to a free additional ticket for a PA to accompany them.

Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members, and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to someone wearing a Partisan badge; they are there to help.

A quiet room is available on the first floor at this event for those wanting to take a break for a while.
