***** LINE UP *****
Annabel Fraser [NTS Radio]
A lover of music not genres – Annabel, most holy preacher of the church of Frase, carries the torch as one of the city’s most respected and well-loved DJs. Shifting effortlessly from obscure post-punk, to Chicago house, to your favourite disco and rave tracks in a blink of an eye, the NTS mainstay ensures all bases are covered for a locked-in, joyous party
Il Bosco [Red Laser Records]
The rock solid wood behind Mancunia’s very own Red Laser Records, Il Bosco is a bonafide local hero. Not only is he one of the main forces behind the legendary Pomona parties (the best thing in the world), but he’s played at mega festivals like Dimensions, Love International and We Out Here. With a bag full of the best of boogie, italo, synth funk, street soul, and forgotten disco bangers, when Il Bosco’s on the decks, everyone’s on the dancefloor
Giovanna [SisBis / NTS Radio]
We found out about Giovanna through her b2bing with our absolute fave Sofie K. The adopted Scouser, originally hailing from the island of Sicily, is a true italo queen. Expect proper dancing rhythms with big vocal and synth hooks, across disco, house, synth pop and boogie – the perfect music for a beautiful day of dancing.
Cervo b2b Taurtollo [Banana Hill]
When you think about the Manchester dance music scene and want to find a party for all kinds of rhythmic, soulful music from the world over, you’re looking at Banana Hill. It’s been such a reliably great night out for a real mix of top quality music for years, so it’s about time we got two of our faves from the team in for what is due to be a playful, magical b2b. Boss man Cervo has been making serious waves as both producer and DJ, not to mention a top quality bar shift he did after he last played at Partisan! With a BBC Asian network guestmix under his belt, Taurtollo’s found the time outside of his busy national radio diary to join in serving us up a delight of a set. Expect to hear music you’ve never heard before but we’ll definitely want to hear again
Hannah is one of the brains behind the all new Album Club at All Night Flight Records, giving space and light to underappreciated masterpieces, as well as an All Hands On Deck and Microdosing regular (alongside being one of Partisan’s most dedicated clean up volunteers!!) She’ll be opening the day party with some beautiful, enriching music to get us in the mood for the big day of dancing ahead
