We will be asking clothes swappers to wear masks whilst in the space and to try and maintain your distance from others as much as possible. We will be limiting capacity if needed to ensure that there is enough space for social distancing. Please don’t come if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 and if you haven’t done so recently, take a lateral flow test!

Partisan’s Club space is located inside the Islington Mill on James Street (M3 5HW). Our Community Space is located across the courtyard on the ground floor of New Islington Mill, which can also be accessed from the Regent Trading Estate off Oldfield Road (M5 4DE).

Partisan Clothes Swap

Fancy a change of flair? Low on cash? Looking for some fun new pieces? Hate fast fashion? Flirting with new gender expression? Come to our swap-shop and breathe some life into your wardrobe by trading your wares with other fashion-forward folks.We will be asking for a suggested donation of £3, payable on card. Nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.Our swap will be located in Unit 2, New Islington Mill Regent Trading Estate, M5 4DE and we will have a soft drinks bar. Please consider bringing your own mug or cup, as we want to minimise on single-use plastic.
Covid Safety
~~~HOW DOES A CLOTHES SWAP WORK?~~~
Bring up to 10 pieces of clothing each. All adult clothing and footwear welcome. This is a space for self-expression. To keep things simple, we will not be accepting: underwear, specialist sports clothing, children’s clothes, or jewellery. Please don’t bring dirty, stained or broken clothes! Mend them and give them a wash first! If you wouldn’t give it to a friend, please don’t bring it to us. We inspect every garment for signs of unacceptable wear, tattiness and damage and will turn items away if they appear unsuitable.
~~~ARRIVAL AND CHECK IN~~~
Please arrive wearing a face covering (unless exempt), and sanitise your hands on entry.
Arrive from 12pm with up to 10 items.
Donate at the bar if you’re able to.
You will receive tokens for each item you bring. 1 token for most everyday items and 2 for high value items (dungarees, designer, outerwear). This is not a super precise system but we will do the best we can to make things fair, if you really treasure your item and think it’s incredibly high value, keep it or put it on depop!
