All members and potential new members welcome to come along!
Lockdown has obviously caused us to stop a lot of what we do but we are still keen on giving a space for our members to work together and help shape our future direction. If you are new to Partisan then we invite you to log on before the meeting start time to ask the meeting facilitator questions on what Partisan is and how you can get involved.
General meetings are an open discussion with members able to contribute to the discussion and help us improve what we do. If you would like something to be added to the agenda, please email in at firstname.lastname@example.org or join the conversation in the #general channel on Slack.
We are planning on doing introductions at the start of every meeting and ask that people state what pronouns they use. If you prefer, you could do this in the chat or share your pronouns on Zoom by renaming yourself for the duration of the call with the pronouns after your name. The meeting invite details will be posted on the event page prior to every meeting. If you have limited access to the internet then let us know via email and we can try and arrange for you to call into the meeting.
We ask that turn your video off for meetings to try and help those with poor connections and keep your mic on mute to avoid any background noise. We are currently looking into closed captioning meetings and will post more information on this soon. A full orientation on how to use Zoom will take place at the beginning of the meeting.
If you are interested in getting involved then drop us an email and join us on Slack. We are having some big discussions at the moment about what Partisan is and how we can improve things. Your input is welcome and we urge more of our members to get involved!
