Partisan June Work Day

Partisan are hosting another work day!

Work days are a fun way to meet with existing friends, meet new ones, get to know the space if you don’t already, and to get a bit of a healthy sweat on if you’re feeling like going for it!

As always, a deep clean of the kitchen and bar areas are much appreciated during these work days, as well as general tidying and hoovering. If you struggle with your mobility, or for whatever reason feel uncomfortable doing more practical tasks, there are always ideas to be thinking of re the design and layout of the space, and if you’re not already a member, you can check out our Design Team Slack* channel to see what has been discussed so far, and how you might want to get involved yourself.

This particular work day will have a focus on making the space extra tidy and suitable for a group of people using the space throughout July and August.

As well as this, the screenings team at Partisan are hoping to use this day to make curtains and/or blinds for some of the windows. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in helping out with, come on down! Any materials you might have that can be donated for this cause would be hugely appreciated too.

We would also love some help weeding and sweeping our outside areas. Gloves and litter pickers will be provided, and hopefully it will be a nice day to be outside for it.

As ever, tunes, tea, biscuits and snacks will be provided. If you’d like to bring any sharing snacks or drinks yourself, thanks in advance, though we encourage the space to be vegan so that everybody can tuck in!
