Partisan’s Club space is located inside the Islington Mill on James Street (M3 5HW). Our Community Space is located across the courtyard on the ground floor of New Islington Mill, which can also be accessed from the Regent Trading Estate off Oldfield Road (M5 4DE).

Bitzer Maloney [Bakk.Heia]
After putting together an absolutely beautiful tapestry of deep dancefloor heaters for our All Day Party #10 which included a slow, chuggy, extended, acid techno edit of the macarena that eventually got the whole crowd doing the goddamn dance in sync, we knew we had to get him back for NYE!
Clay [Banana Hill]
Producer of garage bangers and selector of all things joyful and pumping, Clay is the ideal DJ for NYE. He’ll get you twisting all your joints and moving muscles you never knew you had when he lays down his sultry garage, ecstatic vocal house and sizzling broken beats.
Abena [All Hands On Deck]
Abena loves playing hard, bassy, twisted music to very excited dancefloors. She’s a joy to watch behind the decks, and we have the pleasure of that experience to close our NYE party, in an exploding ball of big 2020 energy.
Anna [All Hands On Deck]
Aside from being one of the most dedicated Partisan volunteers for over 2 years, Anna has supported the likes of rRoxymore and Joe from Hessle Audio behind the decks, and helped throw the incredible Dust Off parties which boasted secret special guests like Ben UFO in the past. Anna’s sets can be varied and wondrous like a kaleidoscope, but bass and rhythmic funk are to be expected.
Hayter Player [All Hands On Deck]
Casino-Vault-Robber-In-Chief of feminist DJ collective All Hands On Deck, Hayter Player is freshly returned from a lengthy sabbatical in the US of A, where both Vegas and the nation’s record shops have been plundered by her nimble hands, without a trace. A real gold digger, she’ll bring the.hottest.tunes.in.the.world, a blazing inferno of dancefloor excitement delivered with an unmistakable dexterous precision. Just be sure you never make eye contact with her and you’ll be fine xx
Babs [All Hands On Deck]
Babs is a VERY fun DJ. She’ll take you down dark bobbly, bouncey paths and tease in playful, excitable, even borderline-silly bangers along the way. Naughty UK deviations abound. delivered with the kind of smile that just makes everyone else smile too.

Snuggle up, settle in, and conk out. The most relaxing spot in Manchester opens its arms and welcomes you in. Careful you don’t get too cosy though – the dancefloor is downstairs!

Regrettably, Partisan is not yet wheelchair accessible. However, we are working closely with the council and our architect to make this Grade 2 Listed building accessible to all. Partisan is located across 2 floors of a 3-story building. The basement has 11 steps from street level, without a handrail. The first floor has 22 steps from street level, with a handrail. There are 40 steps between the two floors. All toilets are gender-neutral and are located on both levels of the venue. On the first floor, these are single contained stalls. In the basement, there are stalls and urinals.
Seating is available on each floor at all events. For performances, a seated viewing area will be available.
Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.
For ticketed events, paying disabled people are eligible to a free additional ticket for a PA to accompany them.
Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members, and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to someone wearing a Partisan badge; they are there to help.
A quiet room is available on the first floor at this event for those wanting to take a break for a while.
