Shanti Celeste!! At Partisan!!! Plus the long-awaited return of Chekov!!!! 😲 😈
This fundraiser party is only happening because of Shanti and Chekov’s support of Partisan’s work and vision – building a collectively-run hub of culture that raises money to give our space for free to support vital local social justice organisations. Thank you so so much, you massive legends 💖💖
Shanti Celeste is a globally-celebrated DJ and producer, who cut her teeth in Bristol but has now flown the nest to settle in Berlin. Not only does she run the incredible Peach Discs label – a destination for some her own glistening, dreamy, and pulsating productions – but is a sensational and prolific DJ. Her monthly NTS Radio show is a great place to touch base with Shanti’s sound, rooted in house and techno, but blossoming in corners further afield.
Chekov is a resident at the *incredible* ‘pumping gay dance party’ Love Muscle in Leeds. But Manchester folk might know him better for his hugely distinctive and wondrously technical productions for labels like Manchester’s own Cong Burn, Bristololian UK bass titans Timedance, and Shanti’s very own Peach Discs. Chekov is such a sophisticated and refined DJ, delicately building and releasing tension with mastery. After he smashed it at Partisan NYE 17/18, we cannot wait to have him back!
Shanti & Chekov will be on ALL-NIGHT-LONG, casually moving in and out of playing back to back and solo, going wherever the flow takes them, and wherever our dancefloor energy leads them… so lace up your dancing shoes, put on your party pants, and get ready to dance the night away x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x
+ Microdosing will be running their legendary chill-out room upstairs!! A tailor-made bay of ambience & relaxation for tired legs and active minds to sprawl out together. More info TBA….
