Partisan’s Club space is located inside the Islington Mill on James Street (M3 5HW). Our Community Space is located across the courtyard on the ground floor of New Islington Mill, which can also be accessed from the Regent Trading Estate off Oldfield Road (M5 4DE).

Partisan Work Day

PARTISAN. NEEDS. YOU!
For all members and non-members. As Partisan is volunteer run, we are in deperate need of a little TLC sometimes.
Our space is looking a little shabby after some banging events, and work days are a really fun way to get involved, meet the team, listen to some tunes, eat some biscuits, collaborate on some projects and generally make the space look lovely again (and hopefully, better than before!) We’re hoping to get started at 3pm, and it should only take us a couple of hours to complete if we all work together!
Whatever your abilities, there’s a job for you. Some examples include:
– painting walls and doors
– helping to take rubbish to the tip
– hoovering
– sweeping
– making things from wood
– putting up mirrors and photos
– cleaning communal areas
– helping with some community outreach (laptop available if you haven’t got your own)
– putting up posters (and taking some away with you to put up where you like going!)
– helping us make signs
and loads more!
If you have any suggestions too, or a specific skill you’d like to utilise, do pass them our way and get in touch.
If you have any tools; nails, hammers, saws, drills, etc, and you’re happy for them to be used by others, please do bring them along.
Equally, if you have anything lying around that you’d be willing to donate to the space, we have a wish list!
