Partisan’s Club space is located inside the Islington Mill on James Street (M3 5HW). Our Community Space is located across the courtyard on the ground floor of New Islington Mill, which can also be accessed from the Regent Trading Estate off Oldfield Road (M5 4DE).

Queer Cinema Collective presents: Paris was a Woman’ & ‘Born a Rebel’: (Int. women’s day)

An EXTRA SPECIAL evening for International Women’s Day: A fab 15 min short followed by a brilliant feature documentary! And a RAFFLE!
7:15pm: ‘BORN A REBEL’ (15 min short) is an exclusive collection of archive footage celebrating the women’s rights movement

7:30pm: ‘PARIS WAS A WOMAN’ (Feature film) uses groundbreaking research and newly discovered home movies to give a fantastic portrait of the creative community of women (many LESBIAN – whoop!) who flocked to Paris in the early 20th century, when Paris was the cultural capital of the world.

Again we’ll have a RAFFLE, where you can win even more and even better prizes than before! We also have TEA AND COFFEE to warm your cockles. And there are finger licking home made BAKED GOODS too, so you can stuff your faces during the flick [insert lesbian joke]. Plenty of comfy SOFA seats too!
£4 on the door – 100% of the money is used to screen future films.
