The event: will be a weekly
series of fitness classes including, Stretch and Zen, Circuit class, Buddy up and Dance fitness. In order to keep up to date on what would be covered in each class, then follow the link to join the Queer Gym Manchester mailing list
Stretch and Zen – inspired by Yin yoga, this class slows the tempo down to allow your mind and body to relax and let go of daily tensions. You will go through a series of stretches holding each for 2-3mins to encourage the body to become familiar with the movement. You will leave feeling very zen, happy and chill. (please bring a towel or yoga mat big enough to lie on, wear comfortable clothes and bring some water)
Circuit Class – running through a series of high energy exercises, you will be led through a body weight circuit which targets the whole body. This class will be fun and challenging! (Bring a bottle of water and clothes that you can move freely in.)
Buddy up – Buddy up! meet a new friend, bring a friend, push your boundaries or learn something new! This class is a mix of partner work, bodyweight drills and cardio. This class is for those who don’t like to workout solo. (Bring a friend, bottle of water and clothes you can move freely in.)
Dance Fitness – Who doesn’t love to dance!? This class is all things dancing, tunes and grooves. You will be taught a series of dance moves on repeat to get your body moving. (Bring a bottle of water and clothes you can move freely in)
Measure will be taken to ensure that this event is as Covid safe as possible and the windows to the space will be open and groups will be kept as separate as possible. This is a group activity taking place indoors, please consider the risks and your personal vulnerability before attending.
