Partisan’s Club space is located inside the Islington Mill on James Street (M3 5HW). Our Community Space is located across the courtyard on the ground floor of New Islington Mill, which can also be accessed from the Regent Trading Estate off Oldfield Road (M5 4DE).

Steady State Manchester AGM & Workshop

Steady State Manchester’s 2018 Annual General Meeting will be accompanied with a workshop event on the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework. There was a lot of opposition to the previous version of the Framework, much of it centred on the growth assumptions and the proposals to further encroach on the Green Belt. But what alternative future can we imagine for Greater Manchester? Could we turn it into something greener, with homes, workplaces, food production and recreational spaces connected up, maybe as in the original ideas for garden cities? How can we develop ideas like this and make sure they get into the process of rewriting the Framework that the GM Mayor, Andy Burnham has initiated? Come and help us figure all this out!
