Trans Liberation Assembly- Club space
November 8 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 6:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating until 13th November 2024
Inspired by a panel discussion on Trans Liberation at TWT, this is a monthly assembly for trans and non-binary folk to come together and create strategic action for our liberation.
The space will be radically tender and inclusive, we can support each other in building resilience through community building, mutual care and action.
We’ll collect donations for food, transport, childcare, and access needs, we’ll provide a hot meal at each assembly and it will be open to any and all trans folk and their allies.
- We will centre trans women and trans femmes of colour and combat transmisogyny, cis people can attend and support but will be asked to speak last.
- We will build a movement that makes clear to cis allies how to support us and demonstrates how trans liberation is intrinsically linked to liberation for all.
