We Wish You A DIY Crimbus: Garden Centre, Skellingtons, Porridge Radio etc

16th December 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 1:30 am

£5

Crimbus, Christmas, Festive Season, Festivus, call it whatever you want, it is a time when our most primal human instincts make us yearn for a communal gathering to raise money for Greater Manchester Housing Action.

It is an expanded lineup from last year’s Partisan fundraiser that almost (literally) brought the roof down at a packed Crown and Kettle. Now its a semi-all-dayer as Nice Time Club are involved to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Garden Centre
https://www.facebook.com/playinginthegardencentre/?ref=br_rs
One of the most unique song writers Britain. Recently supported Nana Grizol and Jeffrey Lewis.

Skellingtons
Cult musician and tsunami of creative energy, Hilary from COWTOWN‘s solo project.

Porridge Radio
Our favourite do-gooders from Brighton. They help their local homeless people by putting out this great comp: Accomodate // Decriminalize

Unpaid Intern
Manchester’s perennial underachievers are looking for a festive upset as the fixtures come thick and fast.
Here they are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-NHKKbijKk

New Fever
Manchester’s lofi bedroom music-maker Rhys.

He made a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5n8-P4aMVg

WURMS
My grandmother told me you got WURMS from eating sugar and I only found out this was untrue when I was 21. You get these WURMS by turning up, paying a fiver and listening. Feat. Lydia from Partisan and produced by Tom from Unpaid Intern.

After the bands:
Crème Twins
We have one half of North London muso favourites the Creme Twins to spin some of his record disks.

If you want to play, get in touch, we can probably fit in two more bands/musical acts.

Tickets are £5 (and no one will be turned away for lack of funds)
