Partisan Reopens in Salford

After months of hard work by our staff, volunteers and contractors we are pleased to finally be able to announce that our new home in Salford is open and we are looking forward to welcoming our members, office users and the local community to the space!

Our new home is rented from Islington Mill and can be found on Oldfield Road, access and transport information can be found here. The space has an accessible toilet and we have been granted planning permission to construct a ramp at the entrance of the space, which we aim to have completed by the start of October. Whilst we are waiting for the ramp works to be completed a temporary access ramp can be used that is suitable for manual wheelchair users.

We are excited by the opportunities of working with other community groups in Salford and look forward to becoming an active member of Salford CVS. If any groups from the area would like to get in touch about working with us or using our space then get in touch at –

In addition, if you have an idea for a workshop, event or class and would like to host it at our space then we’d love to hear from you! To read more about our future events then follow the link to be taken to our events calendar

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and volunteers for their continued support throughout the past 18 months! Although we have been incredibly fortunate to survive (what we hope is) the worst of the pandemic we are still in a precarious position as we look to adapt our old business plan to a new, improved yet smaller venue. If you are not a member then please consider signing up to give your support and help your co-operatively run community space grow. Partisan needs your financial and volunteer support, click here to sign-up as a member and here to register your interest in volunteering.

The last year has shown the importance of community and at Partisan we aim to provide the platform for a range of people from different backgrounds to experience the joys of doing stuff together. We hope you will join us on the next stage of our journey as we aim to provide Greater Manchester with the community space it deserves.

See you soon!
