Resident at the enormous Leeds institution of Brotherhood Sound System, and part of the organising committee of the legendary LGBT+ night at Wharf Chambers, Love Muscle, Tami is making her journey across the Pennines this time to join us as DJ rather than dancer. Tami is a master of getting the party started, and isn’t afraid to deploy her incredible mixing skills to move between the bassy underground sounds of gqom and UK funky all the way to pop bangers. CONTOURS [RHYTHM SECTION]
Manchester’s finest soulful selector, Tom’s ear for picking out the finest musical delicacies is pretty much second to none, bolstered by a hefty knowledge of spiritual jazz, broken-beat, and music from all corners of Africa. Early releases on Rhythm Section and Fly High Society reflect his keen musicianship, which is most recently borne out by his involvement in the brilliant forthcoming Kawuku Sound release, made with Ugandan musicians in Kampala, which has already received Radio 1 support. The energy for his last All Day Party set was so incredible, we knew we had to get him back.

This is big news – our in-house party All Hands On Deck are going to be bringing you the first 6 hours of the day!!
All Hands On Deck is a open-deck party and collective for womxn, non-binary, gender non-conforming and non-cis men to support each other to try their hands at DJing in a low-pressure, welcoming and inclusive environment. If you identify as such, this is for you ♥.
Give this putting-music-on-for-people-in-a-big-room thing a try or a bit more practice.

PARTISAN ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Regrettably, Partisan is not yet wheelchair accessible. However, we are working closely with the council and our architect to make this Grade 2 Listed building accessible to all. Partisan is located across 2 floors of a 3-story building. The basement has 11 steps from street level, without a handrail. The first floor has 22 steps from street level, with a handrail. There are 40 steps between the two floors. All toilets are gender-neutral and are located on both levels of the venue. On the first floor, these are single contained stalls. In the basement, there are stalls and urinals.
Seating is available on each floor at all events. For performances, a seated viewing area will be available.
Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.
For ticketed events, paying disabled people are eligible to a free additional ticket for a PA to accompany them.
Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members, and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to someone wearing a Partisan badge; they are there to help.
A quiet room is available on the first floor at this event for those wanting to take a break for a while.
