Partisan is home to a lovely Riso printer – a cheap and eco-friendly way to mass produce prints, posters, and flyers. Team Trident Press is now running regular beginner courses and DIY Print Clubs.
In monthly RISO Beginner’s Course you learn the basics about risography and how to use it right. Explore the machine and understand how to make use of this unique printing method for DIY projects like zines, flyers and posters. Book onto one of their courses via Eventbrite.
DIY Print Club is a fortnightly Partisan members peer-to-peer support session. Come in to do your printing, chat to other RISO fans about your project and collaborate. A Partisan RISO technician will be round to help with technical issues and offer support if needed. Check out our events calendar for dates.
You can also use the RISO when the Pen Fight shop is open (12-8pm, thurs-sat, keep an eye on their social media for occasional varying open times). You must be a member and have previous training to use the printer, and don’t forget to bring you own paper!
