How to Find Us

At present, we are spread across two spaces. Unit 2 (our old space) and the Club Space in Islington Mill. Event and activity organisers should specify which space they are using, but if you are not sure please email info@partisancollective.net and we can let you know.

Directions to Club Space in Islington Mill

The address is: Islington Mill, 1 James Street, Salford M3 5HW

At present, the front door is locked. This should be monitored if there is an event on, but if you arrive and it is locked please contact the person arranging the activity.

There are bike racks outside that can be easily accessed.

There is also some limited free parking outside the Mill, or you can park for 2 hours before 7pm on neighbouring streets. Please check signage before leaving your car!

If the bus is more your thing then you can get either the 50, 34, 36, 37 or 38 buses from Piccadilly Gardens and get off at the Salford Cathedral on Chapel Street.

We are a 5 minute walk from Salford Central Train Station.

If you are at the Unit 2 space and want to get to Islington Mill. Exit the front door and turn right, and then take the second right down St James Street.

Accessibility

Partisan has an accessible toilet and an access ramp at one of our entrances for wheelchair users. Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well-behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.

Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to a member of staff or one of our volunteers, they are there to help.

If you do have any particular access needs then please get in touch in advance of visiting our space so we have time to make whatever preparations we can to make your visit as comfortable as possible.

COVID-19 Safety

All users of our space are encouraged to wear a mask and to take a lateral flow test before arrival.

Masks and hand sanitizer are provided at the entrance as well as in our main events area.

Lateral flow tests are provided and can be found near the entrance.

The front of our space has several windows which can be opened but the larger events area is not as well ventilated.

Due to the small size of our space, it isn’t possible to observe social distancing for every event.

We hope to see you soon!
