Emma is an experienced author, editor, journalist and broadcaster with experience in lecturing, workshops and in youth work.
In 2019 Emma published ‘Make Some Space: Tuning Into Total Refreshment Centre’ on her own Sweet Machine Publishing imprint and as an audiobook. It was one of MOJO Magazine’s top ten books of the year. It was then re-released on International Anthem as part of a 7” release by Angel Bat Dawid, of a track titled ‘Transition East’ that was inspired by the book. This was followed by ‘Document Your Culture’, also on Sweet Machine. Rough Trade Books published my pamphlet ‘Steam Down: How Things Begin’ which was listed as an Irish Times book of the year in 2019.
Emma hosted a monthly radio show on Worldwide FM, featuring cultural instigators from across the decades.
All of Emma’s work and project are well worth checking out.
All materials are provided at the workshop.
The Workshop is a sober event.
The workshop is part of a larger community day event featuring exhibitions, panel talk, food and dance party. Tickets for the rest of event can be found here –
