FUN FACT: we’ve gotta wait 28 years til the next time the quadrennial day (we had to look that word up) falls on a saturday, and this just happens to be our 13th all dayer…… fate says this is gunna be a magical party… 🔮 ✨

Jon K [NTS / Peking Spring / Pariahs]
Jon K might well be the last of the big manny legends we’ve got to make their debut at Partisan, and we are so happy to have him. From his involvement in Hoya Hoya back in the day, a party which literally brought together two of Partisan’s biggest volunteers, to his wicked Pariah parties these days with the likes of Elena Columbi and Tom Boogizm, Jon K gives the city some of its very best dancefloor music. His Peking Spring NTS show is consistently one of the best: spanning dub to techno to ebm and minimal synth to post punk – Jon’s one of those DJs that ahead of the curve for new sonic mutations in dance music, setting trends when he’s not even trying to. He’s got the closing two hours to shake our legs and melt our brains

Anna [All Hands on Deck]
Aside from being one of the most dedicated Partisan volunteers for over 2 years and one of the resident founders of AHOD, Anna has supported the likes of rRoxymore and Joe from Hessle Audio behind the decks, and helped throw the incredible Dust Off parties which boasted secret special guests like Ben UFO in the past. Anna’s sets are varied and wondrous like a kaleidoscope, but bass, fun, and rhythmic funk are inevitable

Pharaoh Brunson [Red Laser Records / Wet Play]
All hail the mighty Pharaoh, the finest italo disco and street soul selector in the land. From his gracious alliance with the Roman Empire, he brings gifts of the shiniest authentic italian disco barely even available on the black market of discogs. Commander-in-chief of the Red Laser army, the Pharoahs watches over beamed boogie, whilst overseeing playtime on a rainy day to rejuvenate us with the Wet Play we need and deserve. The dancefloor worships you, Pharaoh!

Princess Anna [Limbo Radio]
Her Royalness The Princess Anna of Limbo graces us with her esteemed presence for her second official day party performance. After absolutely killing it the first time round, we realised not only that we had to get her back, but that our Anna belongs with the many not the few. The most energetic DJ you have ever seen in your life, it begs the question, what are they putting on that silver spoon?? Whatever it is, Princess Anna distributes it equally among the people of the dancefloor

Ellen [All Hands on Deck]
Ellen is a shining light from the wider collective of All Hands on Deck, a living testimony to the talent that the free AHOD workshops can inspire and bring out in people. She’ll be opening up the party with the exact right vibes to get us in the mood.

PARTISAN ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Regrettably, Partisan is not yet wheelchair accessible. However, we are working closely with the council and our architect to make this Grade 2 Listed building accessible to all. Partisan is located across 2 floors of a 3-story building. The basement has 11 steps from street level, without a handrail. The first floor has 22 steps from street level, with a handrail. There are 40 steps between the two floors. All toilets are gender-neutral and are located on both levels of the venue. On the first floor, these are single contained stalls. In the basement, there are stalls and urinals.

Seating is available on each floor at all events. For performances, a seated viewing area will be available.

Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of in performance rooms of loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.

For ticketed events, paying disabled people are eligible to a free additional ticket for a PA to accompany them.

Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members, and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to someone wearing a Partisan badge; they are there to help.

A quiet room is available on the first floor at this event for those wanting to take a break for a while.
